Consultation
To encourage community involvement in the project, City East Alliance employs a range of engagement methods including:
- Technical Working and Community Representative Groups
- ‘Dialogue with the Community’ workshops
- Dedicated stakeholder meetings on special interest issues
- Accommodation works meetings
- Information sessions and presentations
These activities provide an interactive forum for residents and stakeholders to share information and local expertise, raise concerns and have input into the project’s delivery.
Public display in Belmont
Between 11-16 April 2011, the Alliance held a public display at the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre to provide further project information to local residents and road users.
The display received a lot of interest, with many stakeholders registering to receive project updates and find out more on the upgrade works.
